Grace Garden Child Development Center (a ministry of Saint John's United Methodist Church) is seeking a compassionate and dynamic early childhood professional to join our team.

Teacher hours are 8:30-2:00

Grace Garden Child Development Center is a play-based, half-day center located within Saint John's United Methodist Church at 2222 and Burnet Rd. We offer low student: teacher ratios, and a warm, loving, and supportive community.

You are the right candidate for this job if:

●     You enjoy supporting children and their families in their learning at the early childhood level.

●     Know that children learn best through play and exploration.

●     You have ample and varied experience working with children in a group setting.

●     You are a dedicated team-player who can work closely with others in a professional manner.

●     You have knowledge of the foundations of early childhood development, as well as an understanding of developmentally appropriate practice for children's ages and stages.

●     Educational or professional background in Early Childhood Education. While a degree in education (CDA, BA, or MA) is preferred, it is understood that effective teaching does not necessarily require advanced degrees. 

●   Minimum requirement: Highschool degree or equivalent needed.

 You are required to have Pediatric CPR/First-Aid Training as well as 24 hours of professional development each year.
