Thanksgiving Feast Team Leader(s)

* Generate sign up sheets for families to bring food, paper goods, crock
   pots, etc. for feast

* Follow up with parents to make sure all supplies are available before feast

* Work with Set-up and Clean-up Teams

* Communicate with room parents to set up feast times for each class

* Communicate with Kym about any equipment needs (tables, chairs,    tablecloths, pitchers, ice, etc.)

* Publicize feast two months prior to event
   - Send out info in parent folders
   - Post on bulletin board

* Create and send invitations to Grace Garden families

* Follow up with set-up and clean-up crews to make sure things are done

 

Thanksgiving Feast Set-up Team

* Work directly with Feast Team Leader

* Recruit volunteers

* Set-up any necessary equipment/decorations
   - Facilities Coordinator, will set up tables and chairs
   - Set-up crew will cover tables and add any desired decorations
   - Day of feast:
      ^ Plug in crock pots
      ^ Put food in crock pots
      ^ Make sure all food gets properly cooked before feast
      ^ Assist parents and kids with serving and seating
      ^ Refill crock pots as needed

 

Thanksgiving Feast Clean-up Team

* Coordinate volunteers

* Empty and wash food containers

* Remove all decorations

* Wash, fold, and return tablecloths (if church table cloths are used)

* Put all trash in trash receptacles

* Wash and return items borrowed from church's kitchen
